Google testing ‘top rated’ shopping ads format for “best” searches

By now we should be used to Google experimenting with its results pages and ad formats, and well, we are, but it doesn’t stop a minor change from creating a frisson of excitement even when only about 0.5% of searchers in a single territory get to see them. The latest variation, as discovered last Friday and brought to my attention by @VikingWagon (probably not her real name, in fact it’s Victoria), is a new way of presenting Google Shopping Ads, ranked by customer ratings. Let’s take a look at the screengrabs, and I’ll try not to be too offended that I discovered @VikingWagon tweeted a certain Barry before me. Hi @Christophe_Rock Have you seen this before?
